This paper approaches question from an African philosophical perspective and explores relation between apparently free-acting being God conceived as creator ultimate cause being. will proffer answers to following question: what extent be absolved blame for evil they perpetrate a traditional religion thought creation high deity who could have foreseen negative bent nature should made inclined goodness all time? make novel contributions debate about discourse by recasting homo melancholicus, or melancholy being, whose inclination best understood context tragic vision
